Indrajeet Rai, Director- Forensic Services, Laxhar Lab.

Indrajeet Rai is celebrated as India’s First and World’s Longest-Serving Forensic Journalist, Awarded by World Book of Records in British parliament. Also Awarded the Bharat Gaurav Award in the French Senate for contributions to forensic science and innovation.

With over 24 years of groundbreaking experience in news and forensic investigation, he has built a reputation as a pioneer in forensic journalism. Known for his dedication to truth, Rai uses scientific methods to combat misinformation and fake news, establishing new standards in the industry.

Rai’s academic credentials include a Ph.D.in forensic science, double postgraduate degrees in forensic science and criminology, a diploma in cyber forensics, and certifications in Crime Scene Investigation also get certifications in Conflict, Anti-Corruption, and Organized Crime from the United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime (UNODC). His commitment to media integrity is further highlighted by his involvement in a research team on fake news at IIM Indore.

Over his career, Rai has contributed to major Indian news networks in leadership role, including ABP News,News18, News Nation, and Zee News, and has received prestigious awards such as the NT Award and the ENBA Award for his outstanding contributions to media and forensic journalism.

Beyond his editorial work, Rai provides forensic and investigative training for government departments, including the police forces of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Uttarakhand, as well as the Central Forest Academy. Additionally, he serves as a visiting faculty member at esteemed institutions, including the University of Lucknow, Bikaner University, Amity University, and Sharda University.
